The subject title comes from a conversation my classmates were having yesterday in math. It was pretty amusing. XD I was working on it before LJ spazzed and ate my nice, long entry so you'll just have to wait with baited breath because now I have to head over to the MLC to do battle. In my next entry I promise to thrill you with the latest progress on Fauxhawk Girl, who I happened to run into yesterday and even though she wasn't rocking the complete fauxhawk, she was still lovely <3.

It was...I don't even know. I made it through with minimal mental scaring, but I imagine I'll need some serious counseling if next weekend is anything like this one was. Lemme give you a few highlights.

Friday:
-C had to have emergency surgery and couldn't work so it was just V, me, and a tag team of the nurse and L

Saturday:
-Mostly quiet save for a fall
-Bruised a muscle in my lower back
-Ready to kill 333 because she's a rude ungrateful troll
-B bitched at me about keeping my cart clean (I have no idea what she was grumping about. The coffee rings and the like aren't made by me)

Sunday:
-351 shit herself at 3:45 and didn't stop messing herself until I clocked out at 11
-299's sister passed away (:( RIP Jean)
-Got myself ripped a new one by my nurse when I asked her for help during dinner
-When she finally did come help me, she was a total bitch about it
-Bawled during my lunch break
-Noc shift couldn't be bothered to come help me so I clocked out at 11

Monday:
-School was awesome (I <3 my Japanese class!<3) XD despite the fact I got my butt kicked on our test. =__= curse you train vocab
-V had a terrible migraine and so was sent home (side note: I'm slowly discovering this is how you unlock the ability to use your sick hours. ii data )
-I discussed what J would like to happen to us as two people from our shift had been taken out so it was only natural that we be next (I told him I could probably handle a stomach ache but was unsure of the kidnapped/abducted route as it was a little frightening)
-300 (aka feeding tube lady) is back and day shift forgot to put a patch on her, so guess who got the flack for it not being put on?
-Shortly afterward 307 ripped me a new one because she and her daughter were fighting and I just happened to wander onto the battlefield at the wrong time
-Cart 1 handed me my ass

And I have never been more thankful for the next day to be Tuesday than I was last night at 10:30 pm. Right. So onto the sunnier side of life!

My class met with the Nagoya Uni students Wednesday and omg. XDD They were so cool!!!! Our class was spent listening to them talk to us about their artwork and afterwords, those of us who had class left while the those of us who didn't chilled with them for awhile. Suzu and...XD;;; the girl with the scarf both knew and liked PoT!!! *O* Suzu even brought up TeniMyu and then we both spazzed out about it for awhile and it was awesome<3! Girl with the Scarf was checking out my laptop and asked me if I was a Fujoshi and I was like >:3 and then she was like >w< OMG ME TOO and then I was like OMG FAMILY >w<!!! And then we hugged and spazzed out about Teh Gay and it too was awesome. XD Sensei was running around, telling us to go to Nagoya Uni and stuff and we were like....XD;;; maybe. Both my fellow Fujoshi, Suzu, and I formed our own spastic circle, I dragged Mary over to a group of boys (Suzu and Girl with Scarf were there too!) because I wanted to talk to Dude with Writing on his Shoe and they were all super nice. XD;;; I impressed them all with my extensive nerd knowledge of anime titles and music. XD;;; I even got a pic taken with them that I sorta invaded on accident. Then they went to class and I chilled with a couple of my classmates. XD;;;;;; Then we all randomly went to Quizzno's for lunch and talked about Stuff and I enjoyed myself very much <3.

Later I went to the BBQ but it was funny because Sensei couldn't remember which church it was at. He told us Juanita street and left it at that. Sooo, decked out in my rainbows I entered the Mormon church, was traumatized by the uber creepy dude there, and quickly fled to the other side of the street. I walked all the way down the street and found the church and them in the gym, but I was afraid to go in because they were playing basketball and I was afraid it was going to hit me in the face. ..............shut up. So I sat out on the couch and talked to my dad for a bit before meekly peeking my head in and I found my classmates yay!!!!...........er, well, four of my classmates but yay!!! so I partied with them and it was fun~<3. There was also a smoking hot Canadian girl <3. I also found out that my classmates, Jean, is also family a fujoshi so we've been trading Japanese!yaoi back and fourth <3. She also gave me a ride back to my car so I didn't have to tempt the rapists walk by myself. Good times all around. XD It cracked me up though. There were these two guys, one was sitting on the counter and the other one stood in front of him. The one standing was almost inbetween his legs and had his hand on his thigh the whole time they talked and I was like . XDD it made me remember what you told me about your trip to Japan Momochan and about the guys in your class.

I swear I'm not a freak. :3 It made me want to travel abroad and be cool like Momochan visit other places~<3. I was super happy that I was able to keep 80% of our conversation in Japanese and that I knew what they said even if I couldn't answer in Japanese. GO ME. On that note, I've made a lifelong goal to meet at least one person from all the Nations. I'm totally going to do it! I've already got Canda, Taiwan, Thailand, Japan, Switzerland, Saudi Arabia, China, Korea, Mexico, and America covered~<3. XD So far so good.

Speaking of countries, OMG LOL Hetalia <3. I watched episode 52 today. XDDD Oh Alfred, you adorkable spaz you <3. Cosplays are going well! I just got my shoes for Rev. America, so he's almost done yay!! XD;;; All I have left is the expensive stuff (aka outfits) ganbatte ne? I also entered Cosplay Chess for AO!! I entered as N.Italy for the Black Team (aka the Villains) as a rook/pawn/knight. I don't know if I made it, I haven't gotten an e-mail or anything, but I'm not too concerned. On that note, Momochan your Gaycon stuff safely arrived, =w=;;; I'm sorry you paid so much for postage!!!!!! But the minute I got it, I transferred it to another envelope and sent it right back out. I wasn't sure what address to put down, so I put down your dad's house since I don't know when the tickets are coming so I figured that was the best bet. ^^;;; I hope that was ok? I sent it out...last week or the week before. It actually arrived Thursday instead of Friday, so that was cool <3.

If you've made it through the wall of text up there, congrats and I swear I'm almost done lol! I've started reading Young Avengers, which won a GLBT award! Wiccan and Hulkling are the first openly homosexual couple in mainstream American comicbook. I believe Northstar and Colossus were the first or second or something, but anyway, yes. So I had to read it naturally. Some amount of money later I own the whole series of their's update to date and yeah. I haven't read them all, I'm still waiting on the last book, but they're very different from what I'm used to. The story line moves way fast and the dialogue is very....XD American. They also don't really...explain things. This is a series within a series so I guess it's just kinda...assumed you know stuff, but it's stuff that falls under the 'cool if you know and cool if you don't' category, which is nice. The only problem I have is that Wiccan and Hulkling are dating and have been through the whole series (or so I gather) but they've never once kissed or done anything more intimate than a half hug while all the straight couples or m/f who've known each other for, like, a page are snogging left and right. Ummmm yeah. I want to go out and say it's discriminating, but at the same time these aren't gay comics and their target audience isn't people like me so I can see why they wouldn't. XD;;; I hope the last one I'm waiting for has a little more action than just a manly high five.

Speaking of manly, I saw Fauxhawk Girl again~<3. IT'S OBVIOUSLY DESTINY. This makes it four times XD though I doubt she's noticed me. The last time I was almost, almost tempted to go over and talk to her, maybe invite her to coffee or something cheesy like that, but that's....XDD;;;; so lame, requires more guts than I have atm, and creepy. Also, when I posted that horribly depressing bitch/rant the other day Thursday?, Aubrey a random stranger drew a heart on my window and it made my day~<3. So thank you very much Aubrey Random Stranger. XD I'm ashamed to say that when I first saw it, this was my thought process:

I....really wish it wasn't Thursday today. Truly. I love Thursdays, don't get me wrong, but that means that tomorrow is Friday and I have to work Friday. Lemme tell you why~<3.

Last month we were promised new uniforms to kick off our second season but they never showed up. Then we were told about these magical uniforms again in one of our meetings when our Boss informed us of their color and the like. They finally showed up and........um, yeah. Instead of being an uber pretty blue-green like we all agreed on they're....some kind of bastard color that someone invented when they mixed white and that fugly white that we all know exists but never mention because it's just that fugly. Naturally the color is so appalling delightful, we need to buy new pants so we can distract people from our shirts match because our current pants won't go well. I don't know where our shirt color order got fucked, but I imagine Mega Boss had something to do with it. In short we've gone from tan stemmed pastel flowers to....policemen with very fugly bastard color white shirts. Awesome. But wait, it gets better! Our Boss has been told to hold our shirts hostage until we wear our new navy pants to prove our loyalty to our leader that we own a pair because heaven forbid we should mix khaki pants with our new shirts. I imagine their worry is this truly lethal combination would cause massive eye bleeding and/or instant blindness from the sheer fugliness of it.

 God awful uniforms aside, the day went pretty well until it was time for us to take our dinners. J went, so that left V and I to decide who would go next. The day before I'd gone second, so I told her that I'd go last today. J arrived back right at 6 and then V went. I then realized what a mistake I had made. I love V, but I hate going to lunch after her because she's ALWAYS late coming back. Always. It's even spreading to her breaks. Breaks are normally 15 minutes, but she lately her's have been 20-30 minutes, which is not only selfish, but screws the rest of us over because we don't have time for one at all or it gets cut in half so the other person has time to go as well. Anyway, she got a new phone and texting/talking on the phone at work is one of her weaknesses, so it's only gotten worse with the new phone. Got up? Awesome. So instead of being back at 6:30 like she was supposed to be, she came back around 6:40. This automatically puts me behind ten minutes, which isn't good because I was on Cart 1 and 307 wants to be put to bed AT 7 pm, otherwise she get's uber fucking bitchy and after Saturday's shower episode, I reeeeally didn't want to deal with it. Well, right when V gets back, 307 calls. V, while texting, says she has to go to the bathroom, so I acknowledge the light and go to put her to bed, figuring it'd take me 5 minutes, tops.  Not so much. 

She had to get her clothes for tomorrow, potty, change her depends, put on her nightgown while I'm closing her blinds, pulling down her blankets (which has to be done a certain way or she'll bitch/be little you until you fix it), straightening our her pillows, etc. It's now 6:50ish and no one has come to relieve me. I'm starting to get pissed because I'm hungry and it's bullshit that no one checked with me to see if I needed help. I radio V, asking her to come to 307 to trade me so I can go to lunch, but get nothing in reply. She doesn't like to carry her radio with her, so I'm not too surprised when she doesn't show up. Finally, while covering 307 up, V shows up and tells me to go to lunch, sounding somewhat testy. I'm pissed because again, I haven't eaten since 12:30, no one had the common courtesy to tell me to go to lunch and they'd take care of me light, whereas I always offer or just do it so they can go, and five dollars says she was fucking texting instead of being in the bathroom, but whatever. I told her that I had everything (I didn't snap, but my voice was sharp), so she snapped at me that she'd been in the bathroom and I told her that I knew that and didn't need her help anymore. So she got pissed at me and left with a 'whatever' at me. Naturally she went and told J I was being a bitch, which I imagine prompted J to ask if I was going to lunch. By this time it was around 7pm, which would put me back at 7:30pm, thus killing me med pass-wise, so I told him I wasn't going because I wasn't hungry. I was so ticked off by this time I really wasn't.

When I left 307, V was down at J's cart, talking. J didn't say anything to me after that and V ignored me, not even looking at me. I was over being mad pretty much after I left 307, so I don't understand why she couldn't just get over it. In my opinion she honestly had no reason to be mad or to stay mad as long as she did. She announced something at showers at me, I think to tell me 315 had refused, and I asked, not rudely or anything, her if she needed help with the showers. She was still mad at me, so she snapped she didn't. Afterwards our nurse told her that 347 was complaining about day shift leaving dirty sheets in her room, so I went and picked them up. I went to toss them in the dirty laundry, where I found V and the nurse talking. V kept her talking so I couldn't talk to either of them, so eventually I just interuppted and told V that'd picked up the sheets for her and left. Afterwards she went down to talk to J again, probably to tell him I was being a kiss ass, but I honestly don't care because I'd have picked up the sheets for her or whoever else who had been on that cart regardless. By the end of the night she was talking to me again, but not as nice as she usually does and J just acted normal. Then they left and V seemed pissed off again.

=___=;;; so I'm really somewhat dreading going to work tomorrow. I hope that everything has blown over and it just...>__< is really ridiculous. I could understand her still being mad if I'd been a complete jackass about the whole thing and stuck my head up my ass for the rest of the night, but I wasn't and I didn't. I can see where she'd get mad, or at least annoyed, but not to the point where she'd act like that.

Anyway, so yes. I'm running off to math now, but I'll post the better, happier part of my week later. XD; thank Fuji it was filled with less drama than Monday.

This week has been fairly crazy and awesomely full of fail lol. The Chinese New Year was a blast! It was a little slow near the middle, but I didn't mind~<3! Katie had a good time too! XD;;; It was kinda crazy though. There was a buttload of people, so for a good 90% of the evening I had Chinese going in one ear and Korean in the other. Lol good times, good times!

Sunday: Work and I don't remember anything so....XD;;; I guess nothing good happened? Oop, wait! I lied! We goofed off since the boss ppl were gone. They finally got around to putting up shower curtains in the shower room, so we have one for the shower and one of the bathtub, which is kiddie corner to the shower. So because I'm cool and my co-workers are dorks and accept me for being a dork, they played with the curtains with me. Lol it was fun~<3!

Monday: I stayed up until 3:30am to rewatch the closing ceremonies and finish up my homework. ;____; I don't want them to be over!!!! I didn't get to finish my writing assignment for Japanese, which was due that morning, so my plan was go to bed and wake up around 8am, so I'd have enough time to get to school, do my assignment and check some answers with my classmates. What actually happened was I woke up at 9:30 am, ten minutes before class. That morning I set a new personal best record with getting ready for class. I brushed my teeth, got dressed (naturally putting my shirt on inside out and backwards), put on a hat, and I was out the door. I parked in the parking garage and when I glanced at my clock while frantically dashing to the parking ticket thing, it 9:53am, and I got to class about 9:55am or so. XD Of course I walked in to find my class taking a test because that's the kind of day it was. Sensei let me take the test lol yay! so all was well. Then I got home and passed out in bed for an hour and a half, ate, showered, and went to work, arriving seven minutes late XD. After work, I got home and started to clean house only to find, much to my dismay, that I had accidentally taken 342's eyedrops with me. I tried to call Noc shift to tell them I had 'em and would bring them back the day after, but thanks to my phone's 15 second delay, when I connected it was not to them greeting me, but rather them hanging up on me. XD So I text V, explained, and she forwarded for me. Afterwards, I finished my cleaning until 2:30am when I took out the recycling and the garabage and Millie decided she wanted to play tag. No really, she plays tag with you. So I spent a good 15 minutes trying to catch her before giving up and going back inside. Five minutes later she came back in after having realized I wasn't playing anymore. 

Tuesday: Was less eventful, thank Fuji. Last week I had invited Katie to go to the Japan week stuff with me and that night they were showing two movies~<3! and origami, but I suck at that soooo yay movies! I ditched math in favor of doing nothing. I got ready and texted Katie. I eventually called when I got nothing  back, and found out that she has a really bad cold and wasn't able to make it. I totally understand because colds are miserable. So I ran to work, dropped off the eyedrops, and came back to take mom out to dinner before my movies. Because it's me I was naturally 30 minutes late for the first movie, but I didn't miss a whole lot since it was 2 and half hours long. IT WAS SO GOOD!!!!!!!!!!!!! ;___; I cried through the whole thing almost. It's called "Departures" or Okiribito (I think) in Japanese. Seriously amazing movie. Then we watched Big Dreams, Little Tokyo, which was pretty funny but not as good as the first movie. :/ I was kinda bummed that there wasn't a lot of people. XD;;; there was six of us in all. :D Everyone was very nice though and I ended sitting with a couple of my classmates! I even met an exchange student named Hide who knew PoT and I was very much excited! And poor J Club ordered a ton of pizza bc they thought more people were coming and yeaaaah, not so much. Then I went to Hastings and bought Inglorious Bastards, which I am totally watching when I get home tonight, and two Owl City cds <3.

Wednesday: Made it to class five minutes late and sat way in the back by myself, XD;;; so Sensei made fun of me and then a table closer to the board adopted me yay! I signed up for my lab and am currently getting ready to go fail an anthro mid term yay XD which I'm running late for!!! Then it's off to math <3. Tonight is the Hina doll festival which I'm stocked to go to and another movie, Hula Girls, which I don't think I'll watch.

OMFG YES Right, so I just finished booking the room. I wanted to lie and say there was only going to be two of us so I could get the cheap...er room, but then I had to send off who would be staying in the room, etc. so I put down our names. Our names translating to: Myself, You (Aubrey) and Hey You (Momo-chan). XD; Let's hope I spelled them right. Anyway, due to Some Stuff claiming a third person I had to book the $90 more less cheap but not as expensive as it could be room, but OMFG GAYCON I can still swing it, so s'not a big deal ~<3. It has two double beds, I believe, so should we be sneaking in another person or two, things'll be ok.

Technical stuff: Holy fuck I love planning~<3333 especially for GAYCON OMFG YES

(still fairly cheap!) the only thing is, we'd have to buy return tickets and so it might end up costing more......

-What I want for my bday: You to pay for your and mine plane ticket :3b Aubrey you get a military discount if I'm not mistaken and Momo-chan....um ^^; frequent flyer miles?

-Food: We could bring our own if we travel by van and I believe, once the Gaycon website is all updated and shiny, they should have a list of fairly cheap places we can go to obtain food that are close by. Cali's sales tax is 8% or at least it was last time I was there so we need to take this into consideration for our food budget. Paying for hotel, I'm not sure how much I'll be able to contribute to this but, of course, I HAVE A PLAN. If we all set aside $5 twice a month starting this month until October, we should have a decent Food Money Fund. This way no one is overwhelmed, we have the money, and it's divided fairly between everyone. :Db

THE MOST IMPORTANT PART:

Tickets: I got this one too ~ <3 BUT!!!! Before you start bowing and kissing my shoes, I need you to jump through a couple of hoops for me, ok? OK! Preferably before March 31st. Due to the fact that this con is 18+, we all need to send in a registration packet that includes a copy of our ID! Yay!!! In addition to the packet, I also need you to fill out an on-line registration thing and print out the e-mail that comes after it's been received. You'll need a copy for yourself as well, as you'll have to present it to the front desk at check in time as well as your ID, the same one you're sending a copy of. So, ah, don't forget it, ok? Please? Once you've got all of that done, give it to me ASAP, I put some moolah in it, and off it goes.
FYI: Momo-chan, you can get a Driver's License But Not at your DMV I think, because Katie has one and because your state is cooler than our's you probably can too~<3. XD;;; or you could use your passport maybe?

GREETINGS INTERWEBS. I HOPE THIS FINE NO LONGER FOGGY AND COLD BUT SUNNY AND COLD DAY FINDS YOU WELL. or at least mildly not um, unwell?..............yeah.

School: Busy as usual pretty much. DX Japanese lab KICKED MY ASS and I liked it then I cried pretty much. So while learning my short informal past/present affirmative crap, I completely dumped my te forms. I guess my brain was like 'gay porn titles or te forms......' you already know which one was sacrificed. NOT LIKE I NEED IT OR ANYTHING LOL. Sometimes, I don't even know. Except today, I'm seeing, like, everyone. After Forgein Lng. I went to the ILC for lunch and who should I see but Faceless Evil's manwhore. I didn't see her, so I figured it was ok, but I should have known that she wouldn't be far. I grabbed some food and boogied over to the check out, hoping that I'd lost them. Did you guys know the Universe has a sense of humor? I forgot this. So of course the line I get into had Manwhore checking out and who should appear right behind but Faceless Evil herself. Took her a couple seconds to realize it was ME she was standing behind and promptly moved, which is good. For her. Because I was two seconds away from turning around and spitting on her. wtf self you're not a llama Karmanically speaking that would've been bad. Morally speaking, it would have been bad. Mature speaking that would have been bad. Key word being 'would have' but she moved so. I'M NOT A BAD PERSON. HONEST. =__= the whole thing made me lose my appetite. Then I saw Jon, some people from my Foreign Lng class, some more people from Foreign Lng class, India (who I chilled with for an hour or so, then she had to go take a test) and Meghan <3! Then it was ok~. India and I took over a couch and claimed a short table. I fought with a program for, like, an hour BUT THEN IT WORKED. BECAUSE I'M A GENIUS. AND NOW I HAVE AN ALFRED WHO SHOUTS 'HEY YOU GUYS!!! *DORKY LAUGH*" AT ME WHEN I CLICK ON HIM AND HE DOES OTHER STUFF TOO AND OEIPTNMWEPKGOEWRO HE'S SO CUTE. Momo-chan, you got a pic of him. And then two really funny ladies sat in the chairs opposite us and they made me lol muchly. I did my math retake and my professor added half credit stuff, so when the dust settled and all was said and done, I walked away with an impressive 86.3%. FUCK YES.

Work: I now have insurance yay!!!! +10 to Adult Status, -100 from paycheck. >___O that shit is expensive. It doesn't officially kick in until April 23rd, though since April 1st Watanuki <3 is when open enrollment for insurance starts up and I have to do the whole '15 days trail run because I just might quit in those 15 days' and then it activates. WONDER TWIN POWERS ACTIVATE. Last Monday I saved someone's life~<3. There's a new guy down Cart 2 hallway and because he is a huge fall risk like whoa XD;;; he almost fell on me Saturday but because I'm an Amazon woman strong, I was able to hold him up! Anywho, so he's on one hour checks, but I'm afraid to leave him by himself because he won't sit in one place and he doesn't like to use his walker. I told my nurse I was afraid to leave him by himself and that he needs a sitter. She called the Boss and the Boss said no more monkies jumping on the bed to get vitals or at the very least BP (BP: blood pressure) So she did and holy shit. 230/100 = BAD. VERY BAD. LIKE OH HEY I'M GETTING READY TO HAVE A STROKE YAY BAD. So off to the ER he went. Movies: So after shopping with SunHee and Dami for like ever (X__x man, Koreans know how to shop!), I dropped them off at their dorm and Katie and I went to dinner and caught the 9:25 pm showing of Imaginaruim of Dr. Panrassus...meh, close enough. It was....weird. And boring. And really fucking weird. I can't even explain it to you...partly because I fell asleep near the end. I digress. Katie enjoyed it, so that was a plus. XD At least one of us did LOL.

AO: For $79 for 3 nights, split between 5 people with a $10 gratuity is $58 per person. $10 might be a tad high for gratuity, but it was something like that at the Holiday Inn and the Grove is a lot swankier, so I figure better to be safe than sorry. :D That and Aubrey can always pay us the difference back.

Cosplay: Momo-chan, our uniforms kinda...don't exist anymore. But I found this place http://stores.ebay.com/Cosplayying , who does commissions. I peeked at their PoT cosplay and it didn't look half bad! It ran about $80-90 but it was a six piece Ryoma cosplay, and our's is only a four piece, so I think it'll be cheaper. Just something to keep in mind if nothing else turns up! I'm hoping to get some wig styling done while I'm doing laundry before the shindig at 6:30 pm! I'm also planning on buying some shoes for either Italy or Rev. America, but I'm feeling America, since they're cheaper (not by much though LOL) and I want to get that cosplay started, since it's going to be the most expensive one.


Tonight a group from my Foreign Lng. class, Katie and anyone else I'm going to drag/convince to go from now until 6:30pm are going to go to the Chinese New Year party at the SUB. Lol super belated Chinese New Year party at the SUB. I'm so excited!!! Kumi and some other people I know are supposed to be going so yay!!!

Parting shot: So while we were at TJ Max, following but not really Dami in the exercise section, I passed by some yoga wear. I read the tags wrong and had to do a double take to make sure they read 'Yoga Girl' not 'Yaoi Girl'. LOL one track mind <3.

  FUCK YES MEN'S FIGURE SKATING. I could sorta lie to you and tell you that I watched it for the graceful, sparkly men in tights prancing around, but that would be a....sorta lie. I could also say that I watched it because with not even a full point difference between first, second, and third place I wanted to see who was going to win, but that too would be a sorta lie. The real reason I watched it? Russia guyxEvans = Men's Figure Skating OTP.  OH. BABY. Oh man, it was super exciting though!!!! Holy Mother of God, the Russia guy came in second by, like, a point and um, UNF. Because I'm a seriously sick and twisted individual I want a fic of them. I was seriously holding my breath when they were tallying his score. :( But poor Japan! I'm glad Takahashi (^^; I think?) didn't hurt himself, but oh man, how crazy that his shoelace broke!! :D I'm glad he was able to fix it in time though!!! Oh man, and the skiing yesterday? >___< HOW SCARY!!! I'm so glad no one was seriously hurt because watching those falls and then rewatching them in slow-mo made me cringe every single time. Especially the lady from Sweden.  Da-yum people from Sweden are tough O__O!  The men's snow boarding was also pretty crazy. They make it look so easy, but I know from my first and last snowboarding experience that it is anything but, and eosmreorer O__O they went so high!!! Shaun (sp? ^^;) White was amazing!!!!! I was seriously like  the whole time. And his score? 48.5 out of 50. EPIC. :( Poor Japan again though! I think his name was Ryo, totally face planting at like a gazillion miles an hour. >__< His poor nose!!! And then when he took off his helmet after his second run and you could see on his face where his nose had bled. D: awww.

I could totally never be a judge. Ever. I'd be like D:( Oh no he fell! E for Effort = Perfect Score! :D Yay he did awesome, perfect score!!! :/ Well, that was kinda ok...what  the hell, perfect score yay!!!!! Or I'd base their score on yaoi potential. So you can dance on ice, big deal, French that blond dude over there for two minutes and this perfect score is all your's~<3. Then they'd be like ....wtf does that have to do with anything? and then I'd be like well because shut up. <33333333333

Speaking of scores, my anthro mid term that I got a 72/99 on has magically become an 85/99. I guess some of my classmates argued that some of the questions were unfair, so my professor went back through and gave us some points back. My math test was basically a massacre. I score 90's on my quizzes, get %100 on my homeworks, and then tank the tests. XDDD wtf you're special self. No seriously. I got a %58.5 which surprised me quite a bit. We went over our tests in class today and I felt so much better! I knew the material, my math stuff was just wrong. LOL 3 times 4 = 15. Awesome. >w< V offered to help me with my math homework too so yay!!! V = Super Genius.

A Single Man was playing at the Flicks tonight and I wanted to see it very, very badly, but it started at 9:15pm, the same time as Men's Figure Skating and I was tired/wanting to read my book, so I invited Katie out to watch it with me, then changed my mind. :/ I'm kinda bummed though because it was only showing yesterday and tonight (I'm 99% sure), but I'm hoping it'll come out on DVD soon. From the summary it's a depressing -> happy movie and from the reviews it's amazing~<3! You know what else is amazing? My Totoro heading <3. Mozilla has this awesome Dress Up Your Bar option and mine used to be Hetalia, but now it is Totoro~<3.

Nearly half-asleep in the ILC on the 4th floor, I wrote out some plot points for a few of my stories, so hopefully the writing will be commencing soon. Yep. LOL OLYMPICS <3.

XD I don't even care about the competing or the medals, though I do love to hear me some national anthems of other countries <3. Our's isn't too shabby either <3. We watched most of the opening ceremonies and I was spazzing out/turning circles/jumping around/generally freaking out when all the nations were walking in. *w* I EVEN GOT TO SEE JAPAN<3. XD They were so cute, waving Canada's flag in one hand and their flag in the other. Way to be amazing Japan <3.The co-workers were lol'ing at me the whole time probably thinking I need to lay off the air Pair skating was pretty bad ass too, >x< I held my breath every time the girls got flung into the air/did a jump+spin combo. XD;;;; I kept thinking they were going to fall and explode their heads open on the ice. THANK FUJI NONE OF THAT HAPPENED. *O* They were so pretty!!!! I told my co-workers that I wished I was an Olympic ice skater because than I'd be a super hot babe and I find myself a super hot babe and together we were be a super hot babe lesbian team AND WOULD WIN MEDALS AND STUFF. It'd be awesome. Just saying. I think it's funny that we're getting our butts kicked (or so it seems from the bits and pieces I catch) yet we're ahead medal wise. Speaking of, YAY CANADA FOR GETTING THEIR FIRST GOLD MEDAL ON HOME SOIL!!!!! :Db way to be! I hope they get another ~<3! Yep. Now I've got to do some math homework. Starring: The Nerd (aka Chester) and Jace (aka the Narrator/Victim) from I.O.U or Bust!

 

                “Here,” Jace tossed a package onto Chester’s desk. It was a light pink bag tied at the top with a curly cinnamon ribbon. Inside were four cookies, each frosted with sugar pink icing and topped with three candy hearts.

                Chester frowned at the offering in confusion before lifting an eyebrow at the bearer of said offering.

                The other boy stuffed his hands in his back pockets before rolling his shoulders in a loose shrug. “From my mom, she was worried you wouldn’t get anything. She said the traumatic experience would leave an emotional scar on your psyche that would eventually evolve into a deep seeded hatred of humanity, which would lead you to find your long lost twin brother and together you would build some giant death ray or robot to wipe out all humanity . . . or something.” He shrugged again. “Mom watches a lot of tv.”

                Chester returned his attention back to the bag of cookies. “I appreciate her gesture of pity,” he pushed his thick framed glasses higher up the bridge of his nose, “but it is unnecessary as I neither am suffering from a possibly debilitating mental episode nor do I have a twin brother, presently misplaced or otherwise.”

                Somewhat used to the Nerd’s Not English English, Jace translated to the best of his abilities. “You’re welcome. Mom will be happy to know that her choco-chunk cookies single handedly saved the world.”

                The frown darkened into a scowl. “Were you even-“

                “Yo, Jace, let’s go, the game’s about to start!”

                Jace turned slightly and threw a reassuring smile at the boy in the doorway, currently engaged in a battle of wits with his left shoe. “Be there in two seconds, Tucker.” Attention back on the blue eyed boy, he leaned over and gently flicked his forehead. “Next time, just say thank you. I won’t hold it against you for keeping it sweet and simple.”

                Stunned, Chester watched Jace grab his backpack off the floor and start for the door but once there, he paused.

                “C?”

                Chester looked at him, scowl still in place.

                “Your smile,” He tapped his mouth with a finger. “It’s upside down.”

                Despite the horrible cheesiness of it, Chester found himself starting to smile.

                Pleased, Jace flashed him a thumbs up and took off after his friend with a “Later, bro!”

                Alone now, the black haired boy pulled out the book he kept hidden inside and smiled, smaller and real, at the front cover of 15 Quick and Easy Steps to Train Your Dog! Yes, Karl F. Reginald was a true genius indeed.

 

FYI: Chester’s logic – People = Simple Minded, Simple Minded = Dogs; Jace = People therefore Jace = Dog.

The last few days have been nothing short of epic.

Recap: Monday

-I organized my bookcase and have successfully given my co-workers more reason to think I'm a total nutter (I organized my gay porn manga by the mangaka's zodiac sign because I wanted to see if people born in the same month write the same type of story and from a small, once over based on what I recall of the manga, the answer is yes, yes they do. The top signs were Libra, Aries and then Sagittarius who write super crazy hilarious stories)
-I finished aforementioned organization at 6am and if I had stayed up two more hours, I would've been up for 24 hours (wtf self why do you have that kind of stamina and how do you have it without having any form of caffeine in your system?)
-This pleases me muchly because my big bookcase now has only gay porn the...more colorful manga and the short bookcase as the less homo manga for the most part
-Pay day~~~~<3
-Took super wonky personalty quiz thing that I'll post tomorrow because it's pretty interesting and somewhat fitting

Recap: Tuesday

-Most of the day I don't remember because I was still trying to recover from severe sleep deprivation (and currently still am) except I do remember the Guy Not Wearing Shoes Going to Class as I was heading down to the first floor of the ILC
-I talked to Momochan yay!!! ( =w=;;; sorry my call was super lame and short and I felt I ended it on a rude note and I'm sorry!!! I-if you'd like you can call me and then when I answer, you can....hang up on me....or just breathe really heavily like a creeper something)
-I had an awesome dinner with Meghan before Avenue Q, which our waiter did his best to make us late for

Recap: Wednesday

-Took my first Anthro mid term and scored a 72/99! XD Not bad considering most of the questions were based off lectures I hadn't gone to
-Had a super awkwardly tense lab with Kumi because one of the dudes didn't have his hiragana memorized really well so he was frustrated and embarrassed because he also hadn't studied how to conjugate verbs into short form and the rest of us, for the most part, had
-Talked with Kumi a little afterwords until her Japanese friend showed up, at which point I started to pack up, and they started discussing something Japanese sports related that involved scrolls, but from the way he said it, she thought he was saying squirrel, and then when they finally got on the same page (thanks to her friend drawing a picture of the scroll), they realized I was still there:
Them:.......*looking at me*
Me:.....? *smile*
Them: How are they different? Can you spell them out?
I borrowed the guy's pencil, intent on spelling them out so they could see the difference, and told them they couldn't laugh at my horrible spelling, but I was totally joking. XD;;; I  hope they got it, because they promised me they wouldn't. Needless to say I got to the 'u' and my inability to spell things decided to kick in so I was unable to finish spelling squirrel. All those years of AP English really did wonders for me, truly So I spelled scroll out instead and said them a couple of times so they could, hopefully, hear the difference. XD;;; I don't think I really helped, but they seemed to get it.
-Picked Katie up around 3pm or so and we were off to spend all my pay check or die trying

-While at the mall, these two army dudes, dressed in their army camo, were walking in front of us and stopped these two guys (who totally set off my gaydar) and one of the army dudes starts talking to one of the them:
Army Guy: Don't I know you from somewhere?
Guy: No, I don't think so.
Army Guy: *really thinking hard* Are you sure? You look really familiar, like I've seen you a couple of times?
Katie: *distracting me from eavesdropping don't judge me*
Army Guy: We really don't have any friends in common?
Guy: All my friends are gay.
Army Guy: .......*awkward silence* .......Oh.
Army Guy's Friend: *glancing at Army Guy and five bucks says he was wondering if he was fabulous*

Naturally I was tickled pink and another five bucks says Army Guy knows him from some gay bar but I digress
-After five shoe stores we gave up trying to find me shoes;after four clothing stores we gave up on trying to find me clothes ugh why does everything have to be so ugly/not me?
-We had dinner at Idaho pizza company, where some little girl tried to bust in on Katie and I while we were trying to pee and then watched Katie for a couple of seconds through the gaping hole between the stall door and the stall wall and while fairly traumatic for both parties, I found it hilarious and cackled over it as we exited the bathroom; on the way back to the table I evasdropped shut up I don't have a problem on the passive agressive family next to us and was surprised they all left without any blood being shed
-Scored the happy hour drink special at Hastings (Their vanilla chai tea is super yummy~<3)
-Scored the Samurai Champloo boxset at Best Buy

-We randomly decided to go see The Men who Stare at Goats, but the only showing was at 10pm and it was 8:40pm, so we drove over to Game World to kill an hour and while there, I managed to fuck up the Jurassic Park game, which surprised me because I thought for sure I'd ruined the gun because I kept smacking it against the side of the game on accident of course!
Katie and Me: *shooting dinosaurs*
Katie: *dies via dinosaur eating her face off*
Me: *left to defend our jeep while Katie swipes our card*
Game: *guy on motorcycle shows up with raptor chasing him*
Me: *shoots at raptor, misses, and kills guy on motorcycle*
Katie: *finished messing with card and rejoins the game*
Game: *continues to play super dramatic music and show us driving through the bushes and such with no dinosaurs*

We tried to reset it a couple of times and nothing happened, so I decided the best plan of action was to calmly put our guns back into their slots and slowly slink away from the game and act like someone else had screwed it up. XDDD;;; I felt kinda bad because people kept poking their heads in to see if it was working or still spazzing. When we left, it was still spazzing.

-Got to the theater just in time to buy tickets and make a quick bathroom trip and on our way to our theater, we glanced at the games and noticed they had the same Jurassic Park game as Game World minus the giant bench thing you sit on.
Katie: You gonna break that one too?
Me: No, someone already beat me to it. *points to Out of Order sign* They must've shot that guy too.
(Katie figures the guy didn't want to die and so when you shoot him, it fucks up the game. I tried to explain to her it was a mercy kill and that he should be grateful that I got to him before the raptor did. Then all I could think of was the t-shirt at Hastings with the stick figure getting shot in the head that says BOOM! Head Shot).

-Men who Stare at Goats = a combination of Utena Movie + Speed Racer movie + and PoT: The Movie; I shit you not. We were rolling through the whole thing and the ending rivaled the crack of both the Utena Movie and PoT: The Movie combined. After it was over, the couple in front of us turned around to tell us something before leaving. I think it was to thank us for laughing, because it was contagious. Katie had a similair thought, and we agreed that at least they weren't mad at us. XDDDD I figure they probably thought we were high or something. In short, you should totally check out this movie. One of my favorite lines:
Bob: He wasn't dying from cancer or the death touch, it was from a broken heart....and maybe a little bit of cancer.

-The movie was pretty short, like an hour and a half short, then I dropped Katie off and came home, laughing the whole way home and it was good <3

So I plan to kick back tomorrow because I've had all the excitement I can handle for awhile LOL.
