I just poached some eggs for the first time ever LIKE A BOSS. So yummy <3! On a completely unrelated note, :D I bought some Lilies the other night when I was at the store and I can't wait to plant them!!! I'm also hoping to get some more Sunflowers because I really enjoy them <3! Speaking of plants, Take has three new shoots starting to grow!!!! :D I bought him some glass gem things for his jar as a housewarming gift and he seems to be enjoying them. I'm hoping to post a belated V-Day story later before I go out tonight, but first! :P Time to finish the laundry and clean up a bit!

So last night on Ebay I found the first TeniMyu dvd up for auction and I was like...

  with a little of this followed by and thus I entered the battle arena. Next came the waiting and paranoia. I was feeling pretty sassy by noon since no one else had thrown their hat into the ring, but by 1:30 and with only 10 minutes to go, the fear returned. I wasn't able to stay and watch the final count down as I had to get to work, so each passing minute was full of uncertainty and hope. Once at work, I received report and then tried in vain to access my e-mail. My phone, being a devil spawn, was like oh, did you want to check your e-mail? Haha yeeeeah that won't be happening any time soon and you can definitely forgot about getting any service in the building <3. Then my co-worker was like, hey I can get the internet on my phone! :D Would you like me to try?

  said I, just like that too with the creepy close up and everything. So she did and lo and behold there was an e-mail from Ebay letting me know that I'd won the auction <3. So I was like COWORKER. DEAREST COWORKER. PLEASE FORGIVE ME FOR THE NOISE THAT IS ABOUT TO COME FROM MY VERY SOUL BECAUSE I'M QUITE SURE IT ISN'T GOING TO BE HUMAN SOUNDING. Followed by PLEASE JOIN ME IN A DELIGHTED FROLIC ACROSS THE DINING ROOM AND BACK TO THE MED ROOM. THANK YOU.



I got to relive that joyous feeling a few minutes ago when I paid for the TeniMyu dvd <3!!!!! I also found out that the seller is super special awesome and is selling it to me $10 cheaper than what I bid.

Technology becoming too advanced, going rogue, and trying to enslave humanity by making its own army and turning the Earth into a desert wasteland with deadly toxic air so people are trapped in a dome? Check!

Drug cartel mafia? Check!

Spoiled brat who has a change of heart and can kick some serious ass in a dress? Check!

Cool accents and a dude that wears a kilt and loves wedding receptions? Check!

Ambiguously gay duo? Check!

Witty banter and slightly naughty humor? Check!

What show am I talking about? Why Power Rangers: RPM of course! SO. AWESOME. I started watching it around 5pm and by episode 3 I was looking for fanfiction! This show, holy cows in India. It's not as fantastically awesome as some things, (ie PoT), but it's pretty nifty. XD;;; I sometimes forget I'm watching a Power Rangers show since it's not as cheesy as its American cousin. The characters have depth, detailed backgrounds, and aren't who they appear to be. Ziggy, the Green Ranger, is a good example of this. At the start of the show his character comes off as a harmless goofball and then you find out that he used to be a member of the drug cartel mafia, but double crossed them to help sick children at an orphanage. He's also kind of boyfriends with Dillon, the Black Ranger. 

Another thing I like about the show is that it's filmed in New Zealand, so everyone has accents <3!!!! The most noticeable is the Blue Ranger's, Flynn, since he's Scottish and plays it up while the others down play their's, but every now and then you can hear it. Flynn is also amazing because he really enjoys wedding receptions. In episode 9 the Yellow Ranger, Summer, is being forced to marry Chaz (whose name makes Dillon and Scott, the Red Ranger, giggle like little boys <3) and some of the rangers are grumpy about it, Flynn is stoked because there's going to be a reception. He totally busts out the kilt for it because he's BA and an evil minion totally flips it up for a peek. XD I was like OH MY <3. See? Slightly naughty humor. My favorite example so far is when the rangers are doing a Q&A for a  group of kids.

Little Girl: *talking to Summer* Which guy looks the best in his span-...suit?
Summer: *clears throat* Well-
Ziggy: *jumps in and cuts her off* I can answer that for you! See, it's-- *gets hauled away from the mic*

I think the best thing about it is that it pokes fun at itself and its characters and actually does a really great job of it so the jokes don't fall flat and aren't super cheesy. <3

Howdy Interwebs! It's midnight and I'm dozing off on the couch so I figured now would be the perfect time to update because fuck sleep AMIRITE?

Roomie: Sooooo today I was texting one of the girls who had responded to my room ad on Craig's List and she seemed really cool! We talked for a bit yesterday and I e-mailed her some pics. She texted me today about it and we were texting (lol repeat mode activated!) and I invited her over to see the place after my fingerprinting appointment. I ended up missing that because I have issues with being on time and met up with her at noon instead!  We spent two hours taking and now she is 100% moved in! Lol crazy no? She is awesome and very much like me which makes me laugh. So YAY!!!!!

NaNoWriMo: I caved, signed up, and now I'm pumped for November 1st!!!! I'll be writing C.o.J. from scratch and while I don't have a chapter count yet, I know how I want the novel to go! It'll be in five mini-parts with an interlude to explain some things Shale isn't privy to don't you feel special?, flush out some characters and their relationships *cough* Darius/Sazra, Quinlan/Muir*cough* as well as set up the next part of the book.

Fingerprinting: Missed my appointment like a rockstar so while M moved her stuff in I zipped down to Westgate to see if I could reschedule. The parking lot was hoping, but I was able to find a spot. Lol for a minute there I thought I was at Wal-mart because holy hell. The office was kind of scary intimidating, but the guy manning the desk was uber nice! Turns out that the office moved down a few doors so off I went in search of a door with a big red square. I eventually found it, good to know my sense of direction is still kind of functioning, and encountered a grumpy looking businessman who was just as grumpy as he looked. I think he was having a bad day. Lol anywho this is pretty much how our conversation went down:

Me: Hi! My name is Jaime and I had a fingerprint appointment.
Him: *looking, finds my name, frowns at me* You do realize you're 2 hours and 30 minutes late for that?
Me: Right! :D which is why I'd like to reschedule please.
Him: I'll see if she has anymore openings for today, but she probably doesn't.
Me: That's awesome, thank you!
Him: You're lucky, she has one, but just know next time you need to be here on time.
Me: Will do, thank you!
Her: You know that you're appointment was 2 hours and 30 minutes ago right?

Haha oh fingerprint people and their accurate sense of time that I'll never know or have <3 :) she was really cool and I had her laughing for the duration of the appointment. At the end I promised to have an interesting story for her next time to make up for my lack of police record.

Good times! Anywho, I'm off to brush my teeth and all that because today has been kind of exhausting so yes! Night guys <3
